
Two motorcyclists from Oceanside crashed their bikes on Interstate 5 close to the Orange County/San Diego County border this morning, killing one among them, authorities stated Sunday.
Officers have been dispatched at round 9:20 a.m. Sunday to northbound I-5, simply south of the U.S. Border Patrol Checkpoint at San Onofre, based on the California Freeway Patrol.
A 20-year-old rider of a black Yamaha bike was behind a 22-year-old rider of a Honda CBR600 bike, and for causes below investigation, the rider of the Yamaha rear-ended the Honda, which brought on each riders to be thrown off their bikes, authorities stated.
The sufferer on the Yamaha was pronounced lifeless on the scene, and the opposite rider was taken to a hospital with reasonable accidents. Alcohol or medicine weren’t suspected to have contributed to the crash, based on the CHP.
The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Workplace will launch the identification of the Yamaha rider.
Each riders have been Oceanside residents, based on the CHP.
Authorities urged anybody who has data on the crash to name the CHP at 760-643-3400.
