 A hostile encounter between two transients at an El Cajon strip mall led Tuesday to a stabbing that despatched certainly one of them to a hospital, authorities stated.

The assault within the 400 block of North Second Avenue was reported about 5:30 a.m., in line with the El Cajon Police Division.

Paramedics took the sufferer, who refused to say who had injured him, to a hospital for therapy of a non-life-threatening leg wound, ECPD Lt. Keith MacArthur stated.

Whereas questioning a second homeless man within the space, patrol officers found that he was carrying a hid knife, police stated. They arrested him, however weren’t instantly capable of confirm whether or not he was the one who had assaulted the sufferer, the lieutenant stated.
