A 15-year-old boy driving an electrical scooter was significantly injured in a collision with a business van in Encinitas on Thursday night.
The collision was reported at 6 p.m. and through their investigation, deputies from the San Diego County Sheriff‘s North Coastal Station realized the boy modified lanes into the trail of the van, leading to a collision whereas heading north within the 500 block of South El Camino Actual, stated Lt. Karen Mullins.
Deputies and paramedics with the Encinitas Hearth Division rushed the boy to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla with main accidents.
Mullins stated the van driver was not injured and stayed on the scene to talk with deputies. At the moment, alcohol or medicine are usually not suspected within the crash.
