A person armed with a handgun and suspected of home violence was in a standoff Wednesday with a San Diego Police SWAT group at a residence in Clairemont.
Police obtained a name at 12:53 a.m. from a lady who acquired in an altercation with a person within the 4700 block of Appleton Road, in accordance with Officer David O’Brien.
The person allegedly pointed a handgun on the girl, who left the residence, the officer stated.
The person refused to give up to police and the standoff was persevering with at 4:15 a.m.
