The Nationwide Climate Service workplace in San Diego is forecasting a scorching weekend for the area, with excessive temperatures within the 80s and 90s in most areas.

An extreme warmth warning is in impact for the county deserts from 10 a.m. Saturday to eight p.m. Sunday.

“It appears like one other very heat to scorching day is shaping up for SoCal in the present day, with excessive temperatures from 5-10 levels above common,” the climate service stated. “It needs to be a little bit cooler on Sunday, however the nights might be hotter than standard.”

Highs on Saturday might be 79 to 84 close to the coast, 88 to 93 inland, 91 to 96 within the western valleys, 96 to 101 close to the foothills, 91 to 101 within the mountains and 109 to 112 within the deserts.

On the seashores, swells from Hurricane Jova off Baja California will convey excessive surf and harmful rip currents, with as much as 8 ft in northern Orange County, and three to five ft regionally.
