 A San Diego police officer was jailed this week on suspicion of home violence, authorities reported Friday.

Seth Tate, who has been employed by the San Diego Police Division for about three years, was arrested Monday night by patrol personnel responding to a report of a disturbance within the 1900 block of Pacific Freeway within the Harborview space, SDPD public-affairs Lt. Dan Meyer stated.

Police launched no particulars about Tate’s alleged felony conduct.

“The San Diego Police Division takes these sorts of incidents very significantly,” Meyer stated. “(Tate) has been positioned on administrative go away pending the end result of the felony and administrative investigation.”

Tate was not in custody as of Friday afternoon.
