San Diego police Monday are in search of a suspect in reference to a comfort retailer theft within the Otay Mesa West neighborhood.

Simply after 4 p.m. Sunday, a person walked right into a 7-Eleven at 2509 Coronado Ave., “and pointed a knife on the retailer worker and demanded that the clerk open the money register,” in keeping with the San Diego Police Division.

Police mentioned the clerk opened the register, and an unspecified sum of money was taken. The suspect then left the shop, police added.

Police mentioned the clerk was unhurt. The suspect is described as being in his 40s, 5 ft, 8 inches tall and weighing 180 kilos, in keeping with SDPD.

The suspect was sporting a grey hat, a black shirt and khaki pants. The case stays below investigation.
