San Diego Provides, a fundraising program for native San Diego-based nonprofits, introduced this week that it raised practically $1.2 million for 338 organizations throughout sooner or later of giving. 

The marketing campaign, which is in its third 12 months, raised funds for nonprofits centered on a wide range of causes, together with animals, training, setting, navy and humanitarian assist.

San Diego Provides is an initiative of Impression Cubed. This 501(c)3 public charity stimulates philanthropy and builds social sector capability by guiding philanthropists; facilitating funder consortiums; consulting on nonprofit capability; and offering philanthropy training initiatives. Impression Cubed serves entities of all types, together with people, households, foundations, neighborhood organizations, and companies trying to strengthen communities and handle societal issues via philanthropy.  

All nonprofits that take part in this system are vetted to make sure that every demonstrates a dedication to serving the higher San Diego space, responding to the wants of the neighborhood with a local-first strategy, and making a tangible affect; serves various populations, together with however not restricted to revenue, age, race, zip code, and background; and commits to retaining all funds raised within the higher San Diego space and has a confirmed observe file of fiscal duty.

Magda O’Neill — government director of Golden State Ballet, which participated within the marketing campaign — stated San Diego Provides demonstrates the facility of individuals working collectively.
