A personal pilot escaped harm Wednesday when the touchdown gear on the sunshine plane he was flying collapsed throughout a touchdown at Gillespie Discipline, authorities reported.
The onerous touchdown on the general-aviation airport in northern El Cajon occurred at about 11 a.m., mentioned Andy McKellar, spokesman for Heartland Fireplace & Rescue.
The pilot of the classic single-seat airplane was capable of stroll away from the accident, which didn’t lead to a fireplace or gas spill, McKellar mentioned.
