A 55-year-old lady was injured Saturday when she was struck by an SUV whereas strolling close to Little Italy.
The accident occurred at 6:42 p.m. Saturday at West Cedar and State streets, in line with San Diego police Officer Robert Heims.
A 53-year-old driver was westbound on Cedar in a 2003 GMC Yukon and stopped at a cease signal on the intersection. “He didn’t see the pedestrian and pulled ahead and struck her,” Heims mentioned.
Paramedics took the lady to a hospital for therapy of a fractured pelvis.
The crosswalk was not marked, he mentioned. Alcohol was not believed to be concerned within the incident, he mentioned.
