A 35-year-old man was stabbed twice in downtown San Diego’s East Village, police reported Friday.

At 8:01 p.m. Thursday, two males acquired into an argument over cigarettes at 500 sixteenth St. within the East Village, mentioned Officer Robert Heims of the San Diego Police Division.

The suspect stabbed the sufferer as soon as within the stomach and as soon as in the precise bicep, the officer mentioned. The suspect, who was about 5-feet, 10-inches tall and carrying a black shirt and black denims, left westbound on Island Avenue.

The sufferer was rushed to the hospital for remedy of accidents not thought of to be life threatening.

SDPD Central Division detectives have been investigating the stabbing.
