A 29-year-old Oceanside man suspected of a deadly hit- and-run crash whereas beneath the affect was in custody Thursday, authorities stated.
Edwin Vincent Hoffman was booked into the Vista Detention Facility Thursday on $500,000 bail after the lethal hit-and-run crash on Interstate 5 simply north of state Route 78, in Oceanside, about 9 p.m. Wednesday, in response to California Freeway Patrol Officer Hunter Gerber.
