Authorities have publicly recognized a 28-year-old San Bernardino County man who drowned final week after plunging off a bluff above a pure pool at a preferred back-country mountaineering spot close to Julian.
Richard Oliver of Rancho Cucamonga was visiting Three Sisters Falls in Descanso with a good friend when he fell into the water on the base of one of many waterfalls on Friday, in keeping with the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Workplace.
Oliver sank into the pool and didn’t resurface, and his companion was unable to search out him, the company reported.
Searchers, together with personnel in a sheriff’s helicopter, seemed for Oliver over the following three days. On Monday afternoon, divers discovered his physique underwater close to the falls.
