A girl who was stabbed to dying in San Marcos this week has been recognized.

At about 10:20 p.m. Tuesday, San Diego County Sheriff‘s deputies responded to a stabbing report within the 100 block of North Twin Oaks Valley Street, simply north of Route 78.

Angela Marie Lanway, 42, was pronounced useless at a close-by hospital. Murder detectives took the suspect into custody on the scene, recognized as Ziyah Jay Patterson, 29.

Patterson was booked into the Vista Detention Facility.

“This was an remoted incident,” stated the San Diego County Sheriff’s Division in a launch. “There are not any excellent suspects and no hazard to the group.”
