With rain anticipated to proceed falling throughout the world Tuesday, further shelter area was opened by the San Diego Housing Fee and town of San Diego to assist the homeless escape the inclement climate.

The next areas will open Tuesday as a part of town’s Inclement Climate Shelter Program:

— Father Joe’s Villages, Joan Kroc Heart, 1501 Imperial Ave., will settle for as much as 61 adults with a further 11 beds for households with minor kids or single ladies. Test-in begins at 4 p.m. and can proceed by means of the night time till full. Test-out at 5 a.m.

— Paul Mirabile Heart, 1501 Imperial Ave., will settle for as much as 62 adults. Test-in is at 4 p.m. and can proceed by means of the night time till full. Test-out at 5 a.m.

— Residing Water Church of the Nazarene, 1550 Market St., will settle for as much as 28 adults. Test-in from 8-10 p.m. or till full. Test-out at 6:30 a.m.

— San Diego Rescue Mission, 120 Elm St., may have area for as much as 10 single ladies who’re in a position to entry the highest bunks. Test-in at 5 p.m. and thru the night time till full. Test-out at 7 a.m.

The shelter mattress program, which usually operates throughout the winter months, is activated when temperatures drop under 45 levels, when the temperature is 50 or under and there’s a 40% probability of rain, or when there are “distinctive climate circumstances,” akin to a number of inches of rain inside a 24-hour interval.
