An in a single day driver’s license/sobriety checkpoint in Pacific Seaside carried out by the San Diego Police Division and the California Freeway Patrol netted 11 arrests, authorities mentioned Sunday.

Ten motorists have been arrested on suspicion of drunk driving at or close to the checkpoint and one motorist was arrested on suspicion of driving underneath the affect of medicine, the SDPD reported.

The checkpoint at 2400 Grand Ave. started at 10 p.m. Saturday and ended at 3 a.m. Sunday, SDPD Lt. Adam Sharki mentioned.

Eleven automobiles have been additionally impounded on the checkpoint, Sharki mentioned.
