A former San Diego County sheriff’s deputy who had cocaine in his automobile at a county jail pleaded responsible this week to a felony depend of possessing medicine on jail property.
Allen Wereski, 49, was arrested earlier this 12 months on allegations of bringing medicine to the Vista Detention Facility.
Following his arrest in February, the division stated he was suspended with out pay. Sheriff’s Lt. David LaDieu stated Friday that Wereski “separated from employment with the sheriff’s division on Feb. 10, 2023,” one week after his arrest.
