Three pickup truck passengers had been injured, one critically, in a roll-over crash Wednesday in La Jolla, police mentioned.
A 19-year-old man was driving a 2005 Nissan Frontier westbound within the 2200 block of Nautilus Road at 12:41 a.m. Wednesday when he swerved and misplaced management of the pickup, inflicting it to roll over a number of instances, mentioned Officer David O’Brien of the San Diego Police Division.
Two rear passengers had been ejected from the truck and the driving force exited and ran away, the officer mentioned.
Three passengers had been taken by ambulance to a hospital, O’Brien mentioned. Two of the passengers sustained minor accidents and a 3rd passenger sustained severe life-threatening accidents.
SDPD Visitors Division officers responded to the scene and had been investigating the crash.
