A 61-year-old motorist died when he and his passenger had been ejected from a 2004 Chevrolet SSR that overturned on the Nice Southern Overland Stage Route in Julian, the California Freeway Patrol reported Monday.
The pair, each from Julian, had been touring in a Chevrolet northbound on Nice Southern Overland Stage Route, south of State Route 78 about 3:30 p.m. Friday, in accordance with CHP Officer Jared Grieshaber.
Whereas navigating a left curve within the street, the driving force was unable to keep up management, veered proper, and traveled off the paved portion of the street, Grieshaber stated. The car continued uncontrolled, veered left throughout each lanes of site visitors, and overturned.
Subsequently, the driving force and the best entrance passenger, a 56-year-old girl, had been ejected, the officer stated. The motive force sustained deadly accidents and was pronounced useless on the scene.
“The motive force and passenger weren’t correctly restrained within the car,” Grieshaber stated.
The lady was rushed by Mercy Air to Desert Regional Hospital with main accidents.
It was unknown if alcohol or medicine had been elements within the crash, which remained below investigation.
