A person who was a part of a residential housebreaking crew that San Diego prosecutors say focused 43 houses and took greater than $1 million in money and jewellery has been sentenced to almost 64 years in state jail.

Devon Taylor, 43, pleaded responsible to 82 counts for his position in stealing property from houses and pepper spraying some householders’ canine in the course of the crimes, prosecutors stated.

The San Diego County District Legal professional’s Workplace stated the crew additionally dedicated burglaries in different California counties and “utilized subtle measures to hide their look and autos used to commit the offenses.”

The crew’s ringleader, George Boozer, was sentenced earlier this month to 56 years in state jail.

One other co-defendant, Lauren Patrick, who prosecutors say helped case prosperous neighborhoods for houses the crew might burglarize, was sentenced to 12 years in jail. Taylor was sentenced Friday to 63 years and eight months behind bars.
