Deputies took a suspect into custody after a person was shot and killed at a Fallbrook fuel station, authorities stated Monday.

The capturing occurred at 8:42 p.m. Sunday at a Shell station within the 100 block of Ammunition Highway, in accordance with San Diego County Sheriff‘s Lt. Joseph Jarjura.

Paramedics took the person to a hospital the place he was pronounced lifeless at 10:05 p.m., Jarjura stated.
