Firefighters stopped a brush fireplace from burning a house in North Park early Tuesday, in line with the San Diego Hearth-Rescue Division.

“A fireplace began after 6 a.m. within the canyon behind 3600 thirty fifth St.,” SDFRD spokesperson Monica Munoz mentioned. “Firefighters stopped it at one-half acre. Crews cleared the scene at 7:15 a.m.”

No accidents had been reported, and no constructions had been broken. The reason for the hearth was not instantly clear.
