Sundown Elementary College in San Ysidro obtained a novel reward this week and the general public artwork was primarily based on the work of younger college students.
Due to a company program to revitalize neighborhood sports activities and play courts in at-risk areas, college students have been paired with an artist to create a vibrant mural to be painted on the courts.
Sundown college students created drawings that served as inspiration for famend Tijuana graffiti and plastic artist Nestor Hem, who formed a design for the college.
AT&T volunteers painted and rehabilitated the sports activities courtroom on campus on Thursday, primarily based on Hem’s design.
In August 2022, AT&T Mexico launched “Revive tu Cancha,” or “Revive Your Courtroom,” with the purpose of portray and rehabilitating 50 multi-purpose courts throughout Mexico.
