A brush hearth scorched between 10 and 15 acres within the Otay Mountain Wilderness east of the Otay Mesa neighborhood Friday, with the flames shifting towards the U.S.-Mexico border.
Cal Fireplace was alerted concerning the blaze simply earlier than 11:30 a.m., Capt. Brent Pascua mentioned, including that there have been no reported accidents and no constructions are threatened.
