Caltrans staff are performing extra work on Interstate 5 this weekend to restore the bridge deck over State Route 163.
The work is restricted to the northbound facet of the freeway and can proceed by way of 5 a.m. Monday. Crews closed all however one lane of northbound I-5 in a single day Friday.
