A 68-year-old girl, using as a passenger on a Harley-Davidson bike, was killed when the bike was rear-ended by a Honda Accord within the Tierrasanta neighborhood of San Diego, authorities stated Sunday.

Officers positioned the Honda deserted a brief distance from the crash and police imagine alcohol or medication had been an element within the collision, the San Diego Police Division reported.

A 33-year-old man driving the Honda southbound, within the No. 1 lane, within the 8400 block of West Hills Parkway, allowed the automotive to merge into the No. 2 lane about 7:30 p.m. Saturday the place it rear-ended the bike, which was being pushed by a 65-year-old man.

The Honda was seen fleeing southbound on West Hills Parkway.

Paramedics transported the 65-year-old man, affected by abrasions, to a hospital. His passenger, the 68-year-old girl, was rushed to a hospital, the place she later died from her accidents.
