A automobile struck a jaywalking 63-year-old man on a Rancho Penasquitos-area road Tuesday, leaving him significantly injured, authorities stated.
The pedestrian was not in a crosswalk when the eastbound 2003 Acura hit him within the 13400 block of Rancho Penasquitos Boulevard about 10:15 a.m., based on the San Diego Police Division.
Paramedics took him to a hospital for remedy of a compound fracture to his left leg and a damaged left wrist, SDPD Officer Sarah Foster stated.
