A 71-year-old man who was shot to loss of life in Vista has been recognized, authorities stated Sunday.

Officers have been dispatched at 8 p.m. Friday to a report of an individual down close to state Route 78 and the Sycamore Avenue exit, in keeping with the San Diego County Sheriff’s Division.

“The sufferer, Bryan Robert Hugo, of Vista, was pronounced deceased shortly earlier than 9 p.m.,” the division reported.

Across the time of the decision, the California Freeway Patrol noticed a car that presumably was concerned within the capturing. The suspect and driver, Joseph Freddy Cedillo, 19, and passenger Jamal Alexander Solis, 18, fled the scene headed east on SR 78, which resulted in a pursuit ending in San Marcos, authorities stated.

Cedillo and Solis have been each interviewed by detectives. Cedillo was arrested and booked into the Vista Detention Facility on suspicion of homicide, and Solis was arrested and booked on suspicion of being an adjunct after-the-fact.

“The circumstances and motivation of the capturing are nonetheless underneath investigation. There aren’t any excellent suspects or hazard to the group that we’re conscious of,” the sheriff’s division stated.
