An argument at an El Cajon condominium advanced escalated Monday right into a taking pictures that left one individual wounded and one other below arrest, authorities mentioned.
Patrol officers responding to a report of gunfire discovered the sufferer on the residential advanced within the 200 block of Van Houten Avenue shortly after 11 a.m., in accordance with the El Cajon Police Division.
Paramedics took the sufferer to a hospital for therapy of a gunshot wound to the leg, ECPD Lt. Keith MacArthur mentioned.
A witness reported seeing the shooter fleeing to the north following the gunfire, the lieutenant mentioned. Within the 200 block of El Cajon Boulevard, officers noticed a person matching the gunman’s description, took him into custody and confiscated a firearm from him, police mentioned.
The sufferer and the suspect, 25-year-old Quinton Darensbourg, apparently know one another and have been quarreling previous to the taking pictures, in accordance with police. The rationale for the argument was unclear, MacArthur mentioned.
