A 65-year-old man who was crossing the road on foot was struck by a truck and killed Tuesday within the Halfway District, police mentioned.
An earlier report had said that the person was driving a scooter when he was fatally struck.
Officer Robert Buttle of the San Diego Police Division confirmed to Metropolis Information Service that the sufferer was a pedestrian.
The accident came about at about 7 p.m. Tuesday close to Halfway Drive, Sports activities Enviornment Boulevard and West Level Loma Boulevard.
The sufferer died on the scene.
The driving force stayed on the scene and cooperated with authorities, in response to Fox5.
