4 adults and a toddler have been displaced Wednesday in a house’s attic fireplace in San Ysidro, fireplace officers mentioned.

At 5:55 a.m. Wednesday, fireplace crews noticed gentle smoke coming from the attic in a house within the 1900 block of Valance Avenue upon arrival, in line with the San Diego Hearth-Rescue Division on-line log.

The occupants escaped from the construction earlier than fireplace crews arrived. 4 adults and a toddler have been assisted by the Pink Cross.

The hearth was estimated to be below management by 6:16 a.m.

A hearth investigator was assigned to seek out the reason for the hearth.
