A 30-year-old motorist was fatally injured Tuesday in a predawn freeway wreck in North Park, authorities stated.
The San Diego man was heading south with a passenger on Interstate 805 about 3 a.m. when he misplaced management of the Ford Focus he was driving, sending it veering off the freeway and crashing into an embankment, in keeping with the California Freeway Patrol.
The impression ejected the driving force, leaving him gravely injured, CHP public-affairs Officer Salvador Castro stated. Paramedics took him to a hospital, the place he was pronounced useless. His title was withheld pending household notification.
The passenger suffered minor accidents within the wreck, Castro stated.
It was not instantly identified if the current heavy rains performed a job within the crash, which was underneath investigation.
