A dozen citations had been issued at a DUI checkpoint in Nationwide Metropolis, however no DUI arrests had been made, police mentioned Sunday.
The checkpoint was performed from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday close to the Mile of Vehicles Affiliation.
Eight citations had been issued for invalid driver licenses and 4 had been issued for driving on suspended licenses, whereas three automobiles had been impounded, in keeping with the Nationwide Metropolis Police Division.
A complete of 1,127 automobiles handed via the checkpoint, with 494 motorists stopped for secondary evaluations, police mentioned.
